High Tea at Neverland

Neverland is a cute tea salon on East Broadway. Its home page suggests you think Gertrude Stein’s artist salon, although having recently read Stein’s Autobiography of Alice B Toklas, I personally didn’t get that vibe. It’s cute, though!

I actually arrived really, really late, which was embarrassing. The whole thing was a bit of a blur, but it was nice.

I was boring and ordered the earl grey.

On the whole, Neverland was decent. None of the treats really stood out to me; the bread pastries in particular were a little bland. But it wasn’t all bad, and I’ve missed high tea. Hope to visit the Secret Garden sometime this summer.

Happy Saturday, everyone
